Bhuvan Arora spills the beans on Shahid Kapoor starrer ‘Farzi’ season 2: 'It's definitely happening'

Bhuvan Arora, the talented actor who has showcased his versatility by taking on diverse roles, from the critically acclaimed web series ‘Farzi’ to the films like ‘Chandu Champion’. Bhuvan was loved in 'Farzi', especially his chemistry with Shahid Kapoor.
Bhuvan who played the role of Firoz in this hit series, has confirmed that the second season of the series is officially in pre-production.In a recent interview with Digital Commentary on YouTube, Arora revealed, "Aa rahi hai, pakka aa rahi hai. The writers' room is on. We haven't officially announced it yet, but I think we are doing it."
Farzi, created by Raj & DK and starring Shahid Kapoor, Vijay Sethupathi, Kay Kay Menon, Raashii Khanna and Bhuvan Arora, has become one of India's most-watched Hindi web series. The show's gripping narrative and standout performances have captivated audiences, leaving them eager for the next installment.
During the interview, Bhuvan Arora shared his experience working with industry heavyweights. He praised his co-stars, calling Vijay Sethupathi a "fantastic actor" and Shahid Kapoor a "lovely actor." Arora even referred to Kay Kay Menon as "fabulous" in his craft, describing himself as an "orchid" surrounded by these talented "roses".
In an interview with Etimes last year, Bhuvan had discussed the development of his collaboration with Shahid. “Surprisingly, it was purely an organic development. We both are actors who do not take our crafts for granted. However, in this case, we did not have any time to prepare, since the first time I had to meet the team in January, I ended up missing my flight, leaving me stranded for hours, while the rest of the crew was in Goa. However, things eventually fell into place and thanks to Raj & DK's vision, the characters were so well etched out that the transition was a smooth affair.”
Farzi Season 1, which premiered on February 10, 2023, consisted of eight thrilling episodes. The series follows Shahid Kapoor's character, Sunny, a disillusioned artist grappling with income inequality, and Vijay Sethupathi's Michael Vedanayagam, a Special Task Force officer.
