Hollywood megastar Meryl Streep has joined the cast of Hulu's hit series "Only Murders in the Building" for its upcoming season three. Selena Gomez, who stars in the show alongside comedy legends Steve Martin and Martin Short, shared the news on her social media handles.
Gomez posted a video with her co-stars from the sets of the third season and towards the end of it, Streep makes an appearance behind the lead trio. Sharing the clip on her handle, she said, "I could cry season 3 is coming!"
The singer also shared a black and white selfie with the screen legends and wrote, "Very, very grateful lady! @onlymurdershulu @hulu @johnnyhoffman5 thank you for making this wanna be an unbelievably, absurdly happy human."
The series' official handle also shared the post and captioned it as "Only Legends In The Building".
Streep joins fellow newcomer Paul Rudd in the show, which started on Hulu in August 2021 and instantly became a hit.
Season 3 will pick up as Charles, Oliver and Mabel work to figure out who killed Ben Glenroy (Paul Rudd). The Season 2 finale saw Glenroy die onstage while performing in a Broadway play opposite Charles and directed by Oliver.
