The much-awaited trailer of the second season of the runaway series 'Bridgerton' dropped on Valentine's day, giving fans a 'ton' of reasons to cheer. The trailer drops just enough glimpses to tease fans about this enemy-to-lovers plot. 'Kathony' shippers and fans of the books quickly took to social media to share their excitement about the things in store for the characters.

According to the synopsis, the new series will follow Anthony, the eldest Bridgerton sibling and Viscount, as he sets out to find a suitable wife. Driven by his duty to uphold the family name, Anthony's search for a debutante who meets his impossible standards seems ill-fated until Kate and her younger sister Edwina (Charithra Chandran) Sharma arrive from India.
When Anthony begins to court Edwina, Kate discovers the true nature of his intentions - a true love match is not high on his priority list - and decides to do everything in her power to stop the union. But in doing so, the two's verbal sparring matches only bring them closer together, complicating matters on both sides.

Bridgerton will bring back Nicola Coughlan as Penelope Featherington, Adjoa Andoh as Lady Danbury, Phoebe Dynevor as Daphne Basset, Ruth Gemmell as Violet Bridgerton, Florence Hunt as Hyacinth Bridgerton, Claudia Jessie as Eloise Bridgerton, Luke Newton as Colin Bridgerton, Golda Rosheuvel as Queen Charlotte, Luke Thompson as Benedict Bridgerton, Will Tilston as Gregory Bridgerton, Polly Walker as Portia Featherington and Julie Andrews as the voice of Lady Whistledown.
The new additions to the upcoming season also include Shelley Conn as Mary Sharma, Calam Lynch as Theo Sharpe and Rupert Young as Jack.
The series premieres on March 25.
Based on Julia Quinn's bestselling novels, the show is produced by media magnate Shonda Rhimes' Shondaland banner.
