What happens when your apparently happy married life falls apart like a house of cards? ‘Basanta Eshe Geche’ is an upcoming psychological drama series that revolves around three different people trapped in the game of love. Tiyasha is a teenager, an engineering student who lives her life on her own terms. She is madly in love with her Maths Coaching Tutor Nishan, who is much older than him. Nishan is a happily married man who is madly in love with his wife Chandrima. Their life changes as Nishan receives an anonymous love letter sent by Tiyasha. The trailer of the series is out now and has already garnered appreciation from the netizens.
In ‘Basanta Eshe Geche’,
Swastika Dutta plays the character of Chandrima.
Arpan Ghoshal embodies Nishan and Sakshi Saha portrays Tiyasha. Writer of the series, Sudeep Das says, “The main challenge while we were developing ‘Basanta Eshe Geche, was to think like a teenager of this generation. But the fun part of writing this project was to play with two exact opposite emotions. It was like I went through a roller coaster of emotions & I am happy how things turned out.” Sudeep’s last project as a writer was ‘Preme Pora Baron’ starring
Anindya Sengupta and Debchandrima Singha Roy. According to
Abhimanyu Mukherjee, the director of the series, “’Basanta Eshe Geche’ is a complex love story which has a lot of shades to each character.”
Swastika Dutta is one of the most popular and well-known faces on Bengali television. Although Swastika debuted as an actress on the big screen, television brought her the popularity and fame she enjoys today. She started her journey with
