Union Budget 2022: FM Sitharaman announces 30% tax on income from virtual digital assets

Finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman announces taxation of virtual digital assets. FM Sitharaman said that the transfer of virtual digital assets will be taxed at 30%. Loss from the transfer of digital assets can not be set off against any other income, said finance minister Sitharaman.
