Rajasthan: Boyfriend murders minor girlfriend over doubt of having multiple affairs

A girl was strangled to death by her boyfriend in Rajasthan's Dungarpur on March 13. Briefing about the case, the Deputy Superintendent of Police of Aspur circle Kamal Kumar Jangid said that during interrogation the accused confessed of kidnapping and killing the minor. He said, “This case is of Nithauwa police station of Dungarpur district. The father of a minor girl had filed a missing complaint on January 1, 2023 under section 363 and 366. Accused Purushottam has been arrested and during investigation it was found that the two had some affair between them. Purshottam confessed to kidnapping and killing the minor.” “The skeleton of minor girl has been picked from the spot by the police and kept in the Dungarpur District Hospital mortuary. Tomorrow the post-mortem of the dead body will be done by the Medical Board,” he added.
