PM Museum Row: Congress resents renaming of the Nehru Memorial Museum & Library

A new argument has been started as a result of the central government's decision to rename the Nehru Memorial Museum & Library as the Prime Ministers' Museum & Library. Several congressmen, including Shashi Tharoor and Gourav Vallabh, have disagreed with the choice. Leaders weren't the only ones to criticise the decision; Congress Chief Mallikarjun Kharge also did so in a subtle manner. Kharge posted the following on his Twitter account: "Those with no history, are trying to erase the history of others." Following the jab from the Congress, Jagat Prakash Nadda, the head of the BJP, retaliated against Kharge by labelling his remark as an instance of "political indigestion." The general secretary of the BJP also slammed the leader of the Congress for his tweet. The Central government's choice surprised Congress.
