Maha Kumbh 2025: UP CM Yogi welcomes Bhutan King for holy dip In Sangam

The Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj continues to witness a massive influx of devotees, with over 34.97 crore pilgrims having taken a holy dip till February 3, as per the Uttar Pradesh Information Department. Bhutan’s King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck, accompanied by CM Yogi Adityanath, is en route to Prayagraj to attend the event. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit the Maha Kumbh on February 5, where he will take a holy dip but is unlikely to address any gathering. CM Yogi is closely monitoring preparations to ensure smooth conduct of the event.
