Air India signed a deal to buy 250 aircraft from Airbus including 40 wide body planes

TATA on 14th February signed a deal to buy 250 aircrafts from Airbus. Aviation expert Harsh vardhan commented on the grand purchase and said,' It is a historical moment for Air India since after 2006, this is the first major air crafts order made by Air India. After the Covid-19 breakout, this is the first major aircraft order placed in the whole world. This will bring great optimism to the industry, and also will help to position Air India as the prime carrier in the world scenario. They needed the capacity to replace age-old aircraft, and augment their fleet since they have been losing market share, and this decision will improve their market share considerably.'
