Aditi Prabhudeva creates history

With the film 'Aana', Aditi Prabhudeva will create history by becoming India's very first female superhero. Yes, the new film written and directed by Manoj P Madalumane will feature Aditi Prabhudeva in the role of justice seeking vigilante superwoman. With elements of fantasy and horror echoing strongly, 'Aana' is a first of its kind film which can be expected to be a refreshing change to the superhero genre. As many would already be aware, the superhero genre has generally been under explored in India because of its sheer scale and budgets. While there have been a few attempts made in the past with recent films like 'Bhavesh Joshi', 'Mard ko Dard Nahi Hota', and the Tamil film 'Mugamoodi', the genre mostly gets dictated by strong budgets, starcasts, and distribution startegies. However, it would be interesting to see how the fans react to 'Aana' and the makers would certainly hope that the film's novelty works in their favour. The film has been produced by Smt. Pooja Vasanth Kumar and is expected to release in the latter half of 2021.
