When Mahesh Bhatt expressed a desire to marry his daughter Pooja Bhatt after their controversial lip-lock

Pooja Bhatt who is currently seen in the reality show ‘Bigg Boss OTT 2’ has had her share of controversies in her personal and professional life. The ‘Sadak’ actress created massive headlines when she had kissed her father Mahesh Bhatt for a magazine photo-shoot back in the 80’s. This controversial lip lock picture of the father-daughter duo had received massive criticism from fans then. Later, Mahesh Bhatt also addressed a press conference on their photo-shoot in which he had passed a statement which created even more uproar from the audience. The filmmaker had reportedly said, ‘If Pooja had not been my daughter, I would have married her.’ Notably, Pooja Bhatt is Mahesh’s eldest daughter from his first marriage with Kiran Bhatt. He later married Soni Razdan and had two daughters with her namely Alia Bhatt and Shaheen Bhatt.
