When Helen opened up about marrying Salman Khan's father Salim Khan

Veteran screenwriter Salim Khan was already married to Salma Khan with 4 children, Salman, Arbaaz, Sohail and Alvira Khan, when he decided to marry Helen, the ravishing cabaret queen of Bollywood. While they are one big happy family today, having only the kindest of words to say about one another, there was a time when things were 'hostile', as revealed by Salim himself in an old interview. And Helen, too, felt somewhat 'disturbed' for falling for a married man. In a throwback interview, the Anglo-Burmese beauty had admitted to 'feeling guilty in the beginning' for marrying Salim. She further said that there was something about Salim that set him apart from the rest of the industry men. It was the fact that he had selflessly helped her out without trying to exploit her, for which, she respected him tremendously.
