Legendary actor Sidney Poitier passes away at 94, Anil Kapoor, Anupam Kher, Manoj Bajpayee and other B-Town celebs mourn the loss

Legendary Hollywood actor Sidney Poitier, who broke all the racial barriers and became the first major Black movie star, has passed away, leaving all his fans and the entire international film fraternity heartbroken. He was 94 years of age. After coming across the tragic news, several B-town celebs also took to their social media handles and mourned the actor's death. Taking to his Instagram handle, evergreen actor Anil Kapoor shared a memorable picture of himself with the departed soul. Along with a picture, he penned a note which reads, 'Sidney Poitier, my childhood idol, lifelong inspiration & star of some of my favourite films... Forever your fan & admirer Rest in Peace.' Anupam Kher also took to his Twitter handle, and along with a picture with him, he recalled the time he met the deceased actor. He tweeted, 'I had the honour of meeting the legendary actor #SidneyPoitier in early 2013. He was generous with his time for me. He was especially happy to know that I had an acting school. A fantastic actor & one of the kind persons I have met! Om Shanti!'
