Dargah of Sayyad Nasir Hussain acting as a symbol of religious harmony

The epicentre of faiths, the Dargah of Sayyad Nasir Hussain Rahmatullah Alaih situated in the bustling lanes of New Delhi is a mélange of diversities. Situated in the Hari Nagar area of the National Capital; the Shrine witnesses the rush of devotees throughout the day. Whether one is Hindu, Muslim, Sikh or from any other community, the aroma of the shrine serenades them into cheerfulness and a belief of fulfilment ensues in them. Qawwalis sung by local artists in the evening makes the whole atmosphere even more spiritual at the Dargah. It calms the senses of the devotees who come from far and wide to pay their obeisance to the saint. Sweet rice is also distributed among devotees as a holy sacrament. It is believed that Saint fulfils the wishes of all and nobody returns empty-handed. The message of peace and brotherhood comes out loud from these Dargahs that have been acting as symbols of communal harmony for ages.
