Keeping the TRP factor in mind, the channel airing the new Tamil shows 'Amudhavum Annalakshmiyum' and 'Maari' has brought in some changes in the time slots of other popular daily soaps.
The channel has decided to bring Kanmani Manoharan's 'Amudhavum Annalakshmiyum' at 7 PM pushing the popular show 'Thavamai Thavamirunthu' at 6PM.
Meanwhile, the launch of yet another new Tamil daily soap 'Maari' has pushed 'Vidhya No.1', 'Rajini and Sathya' to air one and a half hours later than usual.
Kanmani Manoharan is a popular actress who has gained a wide fan base for her role as Anjali in 'Bharathi Kannamma'. Fans have been waiting for her comeback with 'Amuthavum Annalakshmiyum' as she will be playing the main lead as Amutha. The show promises a high drama quotient to the audience.
On the other hand, Vidhya No.1, Rajini and Sathya 2 are pushed to 9.30 PM, 10 PM and 10.30 PM respectively, as the brand new show 'Maari' airs in the prime time. The daily soap is a remake of the popular Kannada TV serial 'Trinayani', which was also equally a hit in Telugu.
The serial also marks the comeback of popular actress Abitha after a break of 3 years. The actress was last seen appearing in the Tamil daily soap 'Lakshmi Stores' as Dr.
Shyamala.
The show is about Maari's unique ability to foresee impending danger and peep into the past. She also has an ability to talk with spirits. Maari marries her husband to save him from danger. Meanwhile, the antagonists implement evil plans to destroy their relationship. How Maari strives to protect her husband from malice forms the crux of the story.
