Ace choreographer Saroj Khan (aged 71) passed away today (July 3) in Mumbai. The National award winning choreographer has choreographed over 2000 songs in a career span of 40 years and has appeared on many TV shows as well. Tamil TV celebs Gayathri Raghuram, Radikaa Sarathkumar,

, mourned Saroj Khan’s demise. She wrote, “Saroj khan ji my heart felt condolences to your family and to all dancers who loves her and to film fraternity. I’m a big fan of you. My father’s good friend. You will be missed. Love you. Om Shanthi (sic)”



Actress-TV producer Radikaa Sarathkumar recollected fond memories of working with Saroj Khan in her recent condolence post on social media.

She wrote, “Very saddened to hear the passing of #SarojKhan or

as we call her fondly. A talented creator made dancing so effortless ,worked with her in Mera Pati Sirf Mera Hai, in an iconic song, was amazed at how she worked on transforming the actors to her visuals RIP (sic)”



Expressing her condolences, actress-politician Khushbu Sundar wrote, “Woke up to the terrible news of #SarojKhan demise. What a beautiful woman she was. No choreographer can do what she did. Her grace,her expressions.She created sheer magic.She taught me the nuances of dance n always treated me like a kid. My best was #BolBabyBolRocknRoll #RIP (sic)”
