Pagal Nilavu written update, August 1, 2018: Tamizh and Arjun get engaged

Malar asks Tamizh to get ready for her engagement function. Tamizh is worried whether Arjun doesn’t likes her or not.
Malar asks Tamizh to get Arjun ready for the function. Tamizh makes Arjun uncomfortable by her flirty behaviour. Tamizh, Arjun, Malar and her brother reach the venue.
Arjun is totally confused as no details are divulged by Malar regarding the function arrangements.Niveditha (the hospital nurse) thanks Malar for getting a transfer to Madurai.
Later, when Malar revealed the fact that, all the function arrangements are for the engagement of Tamizh and Arjun.
Arjun gets shocked to hear this. Malar said she wanted to surprise everyone, mainly Revathy and Sakthivel, who insulted Arjun.
Arjun gets angry with Malar. Reluctant Arjun exchanges garland and rings with Tamizh under compulsions from Malar.
Malar suspects as Sneha’s mom Ramya is no more, Revathy and Sakthivel would bring Sneha to their home. Hence, Malar decides to finish the marriage of Tamizh and Arjun by the earliest possible.
Tamizh’s friend Vikram too attends her engagement function. Vikram decides to blackmail Tamizh with the videos in his possession and make quick money.
