Makers put rumours to rest; Kanmani Manoharan’s ‘Amudhavum______’ to premiere in April

Recently, Bharathi Kannamma fame Kanmani Manoharan bagged the main role in the new Tamil daily soap, 'Amudhavum___'. Rumours were rife that the show was shelved, the show's creators clarified that the show will premiere in the last week of April.
After Kanmani Manoharan announced her walk out from Bharathi Kannamma, she was seen in the promo of 'Amudhavum_____'.The makers of the show have not revealed the complete title of the show yet. In the recently released promo, it was revealed that Kanmani will play the character of Amutha.
As there was no announcement regarding the launch of the show, the show was rumoured to be shelved. Now, the makers have put an end to this rumour.
The Tamil soap portrays the characteristics of Amudha, who yearns for education as she discontinued her studies because of her mother’s demise. So Amudha decides to marry a teacher so she can continue her studies and achieve her dreams. Will she find the right teacher and partner for her life? This forms the crux of the story.
Talking about her new avatar as Amudha in an exclusive interview with ETimes TV, the actress said, “I kept coming across a lot of roles, where the female lead keeps crying and grumpy. But when I heard about ‘Amudha’, it had all the emotions I was looking for: sentiment, romance, and a funny side, but all in a balanced mix, which made me opt in.”
