Director Manobala makes a special appearance in the serial Oviya

Director and actor Manobala makes a special guest appearance in the serial Oviya. The channel airing the serial Oviya has shared the promo video featuring Manobala.
Manobala would be appearing in the role of Mayilvaganan Mama. The episodes featuring Manobala would be aired from June 26 (today) and would be on for the next few days. His role in the serial is expected to be filled with lots of comedy.
Mayilvaganan Mama, the character donned by Manobala is set on the backdrop of Madavi-Surya wedding.Mayilvaganan intends on revealing the true shades of Madhavi and block her dreams of marrying Surya against his wish.

On commenting on his cameo, Director Manobala said that “Television is a great medium for actors to connect with the audience. Especially on the fiction front, we can gauge and get instant feedback, which helps improve our skill sets over time. Oviya as a story is intriguing and exciting to work for. The character I play as part of the show, even if it is just for five episodes, it is a crucial role that changes the course of the show. With my wit and humor, I hope Mayilvaganam Mama becomes a loved character across households.”
Besides Oviya, Manobala was previously seen in the serial Maya, as Bhadra.
The serial Oviya features Gomathi Priya (as Oviya), Harshala (as Gayathri), Sindhu Shyam (as Anbu), Divya Banu (as Arivazhagi ‘Arivu’), Raj Mithran, Arvind Kathare, Jiva Ravi and others.
Oviya deals with the deep friendship between Oviya and Gayathri who come from different social backgrounds.
