Akshara joins the cast of Vidhya No 1; says 'After a long time, my dream came true'

Actress Akshara, who was previously seen playing the role of Bhuvana in the popular daily soap 'Amudhavum Annalakshmiyum', has now joined the cast of another popular show, Vidhya No 1.
According to a source close to the show, "Akshara has been approached to play an important role in the show. She will be seen in a positive role. She will play the role of Vaani, With her entry, audiences will see more drama in the show."

Akshara, on the other hand, said, "I am excited to join in the super hit show Vidhya No 1.After a long time, my dream came true. And thank you director Siva Sekar sir for giving me this wonderful opportunity. I wish to keep them all entertained. I hope they support me in my new journey with Vidhya No 1."

On the career front, Akshara made her debut with the Tamil TV show 'Amudhavum Annalakshmiyum' which aired in July 2022. The actress rose to fame by playing the character Bhuvana. She also acted in various other series and short films.
The TV show Vidhya No. 1 premiered in August 2021. The TV serial stars Tejaswini Gowda, Niharika Harshu, and Puviarasu in lead roles. Ilavarasan, Azhagu, Siddarth Raj, Padmini Chandrasekaran, Madhumitha Illaiyaraja, Shankaresh Kumar, Niranjana Neithiar, Arvind Kathare, Sheela, Niharikka Ranjith, Murali Kumar, Priyanka, Karate Raja, Keerthana play supporting roles. The series is directed by Siva Sekar and written by K. V. Pandian while the Cinematography is handled by K. C. Ramesh.

The story revolves around Vedavalli, a successful entrepreneur, who believes in the importance of education and she wants her daughter-in-law to be educated. But Vidhya, an illiterate woman with immense native wisdom, becomes her daughter-in-law with unfortunate circumstances by marrying Sanjay. Vedavalli introduces his daughter-in-law as a maid to her friends. Sanjay educates her to get a good impression of Vedavalli.
