Swarajya Janani Jijamata actress Smita Shewale had the opportunity to learn dance from Saroj Khan for the popular TV show

. In the show, Smita worked with Saroj Khan for the song Paan Khaye Saiyan Hamaro. Smita shared a throwback video from the rehearsals of the song and wrote, “This is so heartbreaking..RIPSaroj Khan#Mastrji... I was blessed that I had an opportunity to work with you... We will miss you but we will continue to inspire ourselves with your work and your choreography...”


Jeevlaga fame Madhura Deshpande also got an opportunity to work with Saroj Khan for a performance in the show Marathi Taraka. Expressing her grief over Saroj Khan’s demise, Madhura wrote, “Woke up to this extreme heartbreaking news I had that privilege to meet you , watch you , learn from you , n get your blessings . RIP Saroj Ji #Sarojkhan”
