With a new rise in Covid-19 cases in Maharashtra, many TV celebs have tested positive in recent times. Recently, Yeu Kashi Tashi Me Nandayla actor Nikhil Raut tested positive for COVID-19. In an exclusive chat with Etimes TV, Nikhil Raut spoke about how he is taking care of himself, and what positive message he wants to send to those who are fighting with COVID-19.
Talking about testing positive, Nikhil Raut said, "I was on leave for the last few days.
I was not shooting on the set, so one day I decided to get the test done, and unfortunately, it turned out to be positive. I don't have any symptoms or any signs but still, I tested positive."
Nikhil is taking several precautions and currently home quarantined. He said, "Actually me and my wife, luckily we are the only ones at home. I had sent my parents to Pune. I am home quarantined now and today is the first day of the quarantine period. I feel it's more psychological than physical. You need to be positive even if you have tested positive of COVID19."
Nikhil urges everyone to take very good care of themselves and not to worry. He said, "I want everyone to stay positive. It's dangerous, but it's curable. We should take care of ourselves more rather than worrying about it. Also, everyone should start believing that the virus is still there. COVID-19 is back, and we have to be serious now."
Nikhil talked about his dear friend's sudden demise a few days ago due to COVID-19. He said, "I was devastated and shattered when I learned about his demise. I was deeply saddened. It's time to be serious now and stay more positive because we all need mental peace to fight the virus. Staying both physically and mentally fit is necessary. I urge everyone that even if you have tested positive, do not worry. Do take significant care and stay at home. I know that one day we will all kick the virus away from our lives."
