Anita Date turns Nagpuri baiko

Marathi actress Anita Date who is a well-known stage artist and best remembered for her role in Rani Mukerji starrer ‘Aiyaa’ will be seen as a smart wife in her upcoming serial. The Marathi show titled ‘Majya Navrachi Baiko’ she is playing a character who hails from Nagpur. In fact, she is been shown speaking in Vidarbha dialect. Abhijeet Khandkekar plays her husband in the show.
Bharat Ganeshpure has also kept alive and popularised Vidarbha dialect through a comedy chat show ‘Chala Hawa Yeu Dya’.
