Muktha reacts to Star Magic controversy; says 'Don't waste time by exaggerating my comment'

Actress Muktha recently landed in a controversy with one of her comments on the game show 'Star Magic'. The actress' comment on teaching her daughter basic household chores has created a huge uproar on social media.
Reacting to the ongoing controversy, Muktha has shared a note on her social media account.
"She is mine. May the world say whatever. Better not waste time by exaggerating my words, pray for the people and families who have lost their lives lately," she wrote sharing a picture with daughter Kiara aka Kanmani.

In the recent episode, Muktha and her daughter Kiara were seen as guests on 'Star Magic'.During the interaction with host Lakshmi Nakshathra, Muktha shared that she has been teaching her daughter all the household chores and commented that it is necessary that a girl child learns all that. She also stated that one can be an artist only till her marriage and post that everyone becomes a housewife.

Soon after the episode aired, the particular comment of the actress received criticisms from different quarters. Popular social activists, advocates, and media critics are seen protesting against the comment which hints at child rights and human rights.
