concluded its journey on Kannada television. Actress
Supritha Satyanarayan
, who played the lead role in the show, seems to be missing the team.
Supritha took a stroll down the memory lane and shared a throwback video from the show. The video seems to have come out straight out of the sets of 'Sarasu' and features the actress along with her co-stars. The throwback video is all about the 'Holi festival' shoot and the celebs are all drenched in colors.
Interestingly, the actress has captioned the picture saying, " My favourite squad from #sarasu sharing this #throwback #blooper to tell them, I miss them all (sic)"
Needless to say, the post shared by the actress has got many comments from fans, who have conveyed their disappointment over the fact that the TV serial concluded its journey quite soon on Kannada television.
Talking about Sarasu, the daily soap went off-air after completing just 200 episodes. The storyline revolved around an undergraduate student, who aspires to be a teacher. When her father forces her to get married, the student embarks upon an extraordinary journey to pursue her dreams.
Although Sarasu is the remake of a Bengali show 'Mohor', suitable changes had been made to the narrative to suit the nativity of our viewers here. The show featured popular TV stars
Supritha Satyanarayan and
Skanda Ashok in the lead roles and this is the first time the duo is seen sharing the screen together.
