The show is the second sequel of the show 'Naagini', which featured Deepika Das and Deekshith Shetty.
The supernatural fantasy-drama revolves around a shape-shifting female serpent who sets out to take revenge on greedy humans, who killed her love for the sake of Naagamani.
The glam doll of the Kannada entertainment industry, Namratha Gowda is seen playing the lead role of 'Shivani' while actor Jayaram Karthik made a cameo appearance as 'Adhisesha' in the show. The second sequel of Naagini also has Marina Tara, Mohan, Swathi, and many other stars who will be in prominent roles.
Speaking more about the characters in the show, Namratha, in her previous interview with ETimes TV stated, "At the beginning itself, I knew that I have to face many challenges while stepping into Deepika's shoes. Nevertheless, I am being very positive right now. I believe that the viewers will accept me gradually when I start playing the character of Naagini."
On the other hand, Jayaram Karthik, who played a cameo in the show, had earlier said, "For the first time in the Kannada television industry, viewers can witness an exclusive romantic song and a real action sequence in a daily soap. Naagini 2 is scripted very well. Be it a romantic scene or a song, it is finely scripted. The show is no less than a movie."
