Naveen Krishna turns director for TV

Actor Naveen Krishna will be making his directorial debut on the small screen with a soap opera called Girija Kalyana. The shoot of the serial is expected to begin by month-end. “Everything is still in the initial stage. It is a mythological series that will have newcomers in lead roles. Several popular Sandalwood actors have also agreed to do cameos. Currently, we are hunting for locations,” says Naveen.When asked about making the shift from acting to direction, he added, “Direction is something that I wanted to do for a long time. To me, it doesn’t matter if it is on the small screen or the big screen.”
