Juggling between education and work might be a challenge. However, it seems to be an easy task for actress Prakruthi Prasad. Amid acting in two primetime shows, Nammane Yuvarani and Manasaare, the actress strikes a clear balance between her education and acting career.
In an exclusive chat with ETimes TV, Prakruthi, who is also studying her Masters in Psychology, speaks about the importance of education and how she manages to balance both.
"I enjoy multitasking. I am very keen on anything I do. Even when I am shooting on the set, I am an artist only when I have my shot. Otherwise, I am either writing notes and surfing some information related to my studies. I am also a social media influencer, so I look out for content to add as a post on my profiles," shares the young actress.
She also adds, "A lot of them ask me why I juggle between my education and work. But these are the conscious choices I have taken for myself. I am very clear about what I want to do in my life. I am clear about the decisions I make with regards to my career and education."
Prakruthi further talks about the importance of education in one's life and avers that she would never suggest anyone quit their education to pursue their interest in acting.
"Education is something that is for a lifetime. Not everyone who quit their education and follows their passion for acting will be successful. I don't like it when people say one or the other. I really want to ask them, why not both? You never know or can you predict how your future would be. Only the lucky ones will shine in such decisions," opines the actress.
Talking more about it, she concludes with an interesting note saying, "To any young budding artist, I would always suggest balancing education and acting. You might have to work a little extra. But in the end, it is a fruitful decision. Also, I sometimes wonder why can't people actually balance both? Why not put in the effort and give meaning to your life properly."
