Fresh episodes of Sarasu to be aired from June 28

We had reported earlier that actors and crew members of Sarasu have begun shooting at a studio in Hyderabad, for fresh episodes. The fresh episodes will be officially be aired from June 28 at 8.30 pm.
The serial, which did not have banking episodes, is now back to treat viewers with fresh episodes and a new twist in the plot. Supritha Sathyanarayan portrays the role of a college student, Sarasu, who dreams of achieving something big in life by pursuing her higher education.But she faces hurdles from her father who wants his daughter to get married. Sarasu is the second serial in Supritha’s career after Seetha Vallabha. The serial also marked Skanda Ashok's return to the small screen after Radha Ramana. He is playing the role of an educationist, Aravind.
Supritha, who had tested positive for COVID-19 earlier, shot for the serial after taking a break. She had said, “I am thrilled to be back on the sets. I am happy with the precautionary measures taken by the production team in the wake of an increasing number of covid cases.”
