Dubbed version of Telugu show Son of Savitramma, to go on air from August 17

Popular Telugu show Son of Savitramma, which was originally made in Telugu, will be aired on a Kannanda general entertainment channel from August 17, at 2 pm from Monday to Friday. The serial marked the debut of Kannada actor Chandan Kumar on the Telugu small screen. The project has Ayesha in the female lead.
The serial went on air in Telugu last February. Chandan Kumar will be seen as a wrestler for the first time in his career.He plays Balaraju who is afraid of girls. Veteran Telugu actress Haritha is seen in the role of Savitramma, as the mother of Chandan, who doesn't want her son to get married. The story, which is set in a village, is woven around wrestling and the mother-son sentiment entwined with a cute love story.
After many episodes, Kannada actor Supritha Sathyanarayan replaced Aayesha as Nandini. Viewers will get to see Supritha Sathyanarayan, who is another Kannada actor, as Nandini, after an episode in which Nandini undergoes plastic surgery after an accident. Supritha had shared her excitement to be part of the show. On the set, she relied on her co-star Chandan Kumar to get her Telugu right.
Meanwhile, Supritha is concentrating on her film career, as Seetha Vallabha, starring the actress, will come an end. Supritha has signed her first movie Rahadaari, which is a suspense thriller. The actress had admitted that she is getting plenty of offers from the Sandalwood industry.
