show Son of Savitramma, which was originally made in Telugu, will be aired on a Kannanda general entertainment channel from August 17, at 2 pm from Monday to Friday. The serial marked the debut of Kannada actor Chandan Kumar on the Telugu small screen. The project has Ayesha in the female lead.

replaced Aayesha as Nandini. Viewers will get to see Supritha Sathyanarayan, who is another Kannada actor, as Nandini, after an episode in which Nandini undergoes plastic surgery after an accident. Supritha had shared her excitement to be part of the show. On the set, she relied on her co-star Chandan Kumar to get her Telugu right.
