Kannada devotional daily soap Yediyuru Sri Siddhalingeshwara has completed one year successfully. The show is being aired on a leading Kannada general entertainment channel in the primetime slot.
The devotional show is based on the life of the revered Sharan saint Yediyuru Sri Siddhalingeshwara, who travelled far and wide, preaching the Veerashaiva faith (Shaivism).
He performed 12 years of penance at a garden (Thota) and hence, he is known as Thontada Siddalingeshwara Swamy. He headed the Murugi muth and commanded a large following of disciples.

Naveen Krishna, the show has a strong star cast which includes Harish Raj, Vinay Gowda, Vallabh Suri, Nayana, Harshala Honey, Jyothi Rai, Jyoti Kiran, and many others.
Theatre artist Vallabh Suri will be making his small screen debut as he will be seen playing the titular role of Siddhalingeshwara in adulthood.
While Harish Raj and Harshala are seen playing the role of Siddhalingeshwara's parents, Nayana and Jyoti Kiran are seen in prominent roles.
The show also marks the comeback of actor Vinay Gowda as Lord Shiva once again. This will be the second time the actor will be seen in Lord Shiva avatar. Jyothi Rai essays the role of Goddess Parvathi in the show.
