Actress Jennifer Anthony quits supernatural fiction Naagini 2

Ace actress Jennifer Anthony, who was seen playing the character of 'Dhamayanti' has quit the supernatural fiction Naagini 2. Sources close to the makers of the daily soap mentioned ETimes TV that the actress opted to quit the show owing to personal issues. She had been very tight-lipped about the exit from Naagini 2 and never opened up about it anywhere.
However, Jennifer was a part of the supernatural fiction until the makers could find a replacement for her on-screen character. The source also revealed that young actress Rekha Sagar has been roped in to play the role of Dhamayanti in the show. Rekha has already started to shoot for the upcoming episodes. Her appearance in the daily soap as Dhamayanti can be expected anytime soon.
Meanwhile, Kannada supernatural fiction Naagini 2 recently completed 400 episodes successfully. Naagini 2 has become one of the most loved serials on Kannada television right after its launch and the latest TRP charts are proof of it. Known for its visual brilliance, unique and compelling storytelling, Naagini 2 has won the hearts of millions.
The show is the second sequel of the show 'Naagini', which featured Deepika Das and Deekshith Shetty. The supernatural fantasy-drama revolves around a shape-shifting female serpent who sets out to take revenge on greedy humans, who killed her love for the sake of Naagamani.
Naagini 2 has Namratha Gowda and Ninaad Haritsa in the lead roles. They essay the characters of Shivani and Trishul in the show.
