TV show 'Bajirao Mastani' gets its Kashi

After Priyanka Chopra enthralled us as Bajirao Peshwa’s wife Kashibai in the blockbuster 'Bajirao Mastani', Sony Entertainment Television’s small screen adaptation of the film will feature popular child artiste Jagrati Sethia in the role.
Besides being the brand ambassador of Kotak Mahindra bank, the nine-year-old has featured in several shows, including 'Dil Ki Nazar Se...Khoobsurat', 'Suryaputra Karn' and 'Jodha Akbar'.Confirming the news, her mother Neelima tells us, “Jagrati loved the film and was quite excited watching the heroines wear elaborate costumes in it. She doesn’t like wearing make-up, but is kicked about wearing a nauvari in the show. She is particularly fond of costume dramas.”
Jagrati has been acting since the age of four and will soon be seen in Bollywood films, 'Shimla Mirchi' and 'Dear Zindagi'.
As reported earlier, Manish Wadhwa and Prachi Shah will play parents to the young Bajirao Peshwa. Bollywood actress Isha Koppikar will also be seen in a pivotal role in the show.
