Mrunal Thakur recently made a smashing entry in Bollywood with Super 30 opposite Hrithik Roshan. However, not many are aware that the actress, who won applauds for her International film Love Sonia began her career with TV.
Mrunal made her debut in the showbiz entry with TV show, Khamoshiyaan and later bagged the second lead in Ekta Kapoor's successful daily soap Kumkum Bhagya.
The actress played the character of Bulbul in the show and her pairing with Arjit Taneja was loved by fans.She essayed the role of Sriti Jha's younger sister. However, later the actress quit the show as she wanted to pursue a career in Bollywood. Her debut show had Mohit Sehgal as her hero. Not just Hindi, Mrunal has also acted in Marathi films.
Later, she participated in Nach Baliye 7 with her then boyfriend Sharad Tripathi. They parted ways after the show.
Her international film Love Sonia was produced by David Woman and revolved around a young girl's journey to rescue her sister from the dangerous world of international sex trafficking.
The movie boasted of international cast, with Hollywood stars like Demi Moore, Mark Duplass and Freida Pinto and Indian actors Anupam Kher, Rajkummar Rao and Sunny Pawar playing pivotal role in it.
