As nightlife reopens with caution with strict SOPs and safety measures in place, a lot of people just want to hit the floor and beat stress. While some Bollywood actors, singers too want to simply enjoy, there are a few who are treading cautiously. Recently, restrictions on party points were lifted and clubs, pubs, etc were allowed to operate while adhering to Covid-related guidelines.
Chak De! India girl
Tanya Abrol, also known for her role of Inspector Jaywanti Shinde in TV series C.I.D., is not venturing out much these days.
The Abohar-born girl, who loves visiting Chandigarh, might be keeping a low profile due to Covid, but she's eager to stomp and whirl on the dance floor. "I would want to act responsible here. When we question the government as to what steps they have taken, we must highlight our contribution too in that. Pubs and clubs have opened, and I too want to enjoy in the safe environment. So, I look at concepts like creating a clubbing/partying bubble on the lines of a travel bubble. A separate balloon or corridor in form of a dedicated area or enclosure where entry is allowed after stringent checks. I read somewhere about the clubs creating a glass cubicle or a see-through cave-like structure within the premises for the safety and enjoyment of clients. In Europe, particularly in Amsterdam, clubs are introducing a lot of new things. So, my idea is party by invitation, limiting/restricting guests and providing rapid test kits at the entry gates for instant Covid result. They can charge extra but safety is very important."
