Celebrated on April 10th in India,
Siblings Day is a special occasion that honors the deep and unbreakable bond between brothers and sisters. While not an official holiday, it is widely cherished as a day to celebrate
sibling relationships, much like
Raksha Bandhan. This day serves as a beautiful reminder of the love, support, and lifelong companionship that siblings share. People mark the occasion by exchanging gifts, expressing gratitude, and spending quality time together, strengthening their
family ties.
To celebrate this heartfelt occasion, actor
Aishwarya Khare from
Bhagya Lakshmi opens up about her special bond with siblings and shares how she plans to make this Siblings Day memorable.
Aishwarya Khare who essays the role of Lakshmi in Bhagya Lakshmi said, "Having two sisters is like having built-in best friends for life. We’ve grown up sharing everything—our clothes, secrets, and even our dreams. One of my fondest memories is when we used to set up our own little ‘restaurant’ at home, whipping up the most random dishes and making our parents pretend to be our customers. Even today, no matter how busy we get, we always find time for each other."
She further adds, "As the eldest, I’ve always felt responsible for them, but honestly, they look out for me just as much. I am forever grateful to my parents for blessing me with the two most beautiful and loving sisters. We may fight over the silliest things, but when it comes to the world, we are fiercely protective of one another. Siblings Day is just another reminder of how lucky I am to have them by my side!"
