Patiala Babes to take a leap; focusses on sisters Minnie and Chutanki

Following a leap in the storyline, Patiala Babes will now revolve around Ashnoor Kaur's character Minnie and Babita-Hanuman's daughter. In the new promo shared by the channel, Minnie and her younger sister share a lovely bond. Although there is immense love between the two, they are drastically opposite to each other.
The promo begins with Minnie watching the television and expressing her dislike about two-sister shows. Then Minnie's younger sister sits on a giant chair and shows ownership by showing her photo frame with Babita (Paridhi Sharma) and Hanuman (Aniruddh Dave). In the next scene, Minnie sleeps on the bed and says how she has always been sleeping on this bed forever with her mother, even before she could come to this world.
Signs that the sisters are opposites are quite striking. Minnie likes herbal toothpaste whereas the baby sister Chutanki replaces it with sweet toothpaste. Their cute banters about leaving the room lights off or on while sleeping is also fun to watch. Take a look at the video here:

For the unversed, Patiala Babes' characters Paridhi Sharma and Aniruddh Dave were asked to leave the show overnight after incorporating the leap track. The actors were shattered to learn this and felt cheated about the whole thing. Speaking about the same in an earlier interview with Bombay Times, Paridhi had said, "I got to know about my exit only on Tuesday. In any case, I wasn't satisfied with the way my track was shaping up. It started off as a strong and inspiring character, but the storyline digressed and my character started slipping around two months ago. I never wanted to play mother to a teenager, but I took up the show for my role. I am glad that I am not a part of the leap, as there was nothing in it for me to explore. Had they not decided to end my track, I would have exited the show myself. It's just that it has happened the other way round."
It remains to be seen if the show continues to spread its charm.
