Three years after their wedding, Sana Sayyad and corporate professional Imaad Shamsi are expecting their first baby. The actress, who was playing the lead in Kundali Bhagya, quit the TV show in April. She tells us, “I got to know about my pregnancy early this year and informed the production house. We mutually decided that I would continue to shoot till April. This is my first experience and so it was a bit challenging shooting in my first few months of pregnancy. I did not reveal about it to anyone because it's my first time and I felt this was something best kept to myself and my family.”
Recounting the time when she learnt about her pregnancy, she shares, “Imaad and I cried when we got to know that we are going to become parents. My husband is very camera shy, so it was a task doing a maternity shoot with him! Maternity shoots are a great experience even my parents have done one when they were expecting me.”
Sana, who has acted in show like Spy Bahu, Lockdown Ki Love Story and Divya Drishti, is enjoying every moment of her pregnancy. She says, “It is a beautiful experience and all we want is a healthy baby. I’m going with the flow and want to focus fully on my child. I’ll think about getting back to work when I’m ready for it.” She added, "I want to be open to working in any medium. Whether it is TV, OTT or films. I was getting offers even after I quit Kundali Bhagya."
