I want to do mythological roles, as I have a strong interest in history: Jaideep Singh

Jaideep Singh, currently seen in Iss Ishq Ka Rabb Rakha, started his journey with Bari Bodol in 2001. He has played various characters on-screen but he now wants to play roles that push him out of his comfort zone.
Talking about choosing his roles, he said, “The first thing I look for is what value my character adds to the story. I enjoy taking on challenging roles—ones that push me out of my comfort zone and allow me to grow as an actor. I want to do mythological roles, as I have a strong interest in history and would love to explore historical characters. Comedy comes naturally to me, so that's also something I would love to dive into.”
In his ongoing show, he plays Balbir Singh Bajwa, the eldest son of the family. Talking about his role, he said, “My character is someone who shoulders his responsibilities well, follows old-school values but is also ready to adapt to changing times.”
Jaideep is playing the role of a Sardar and he loves wearing turbans. The actor said, “I'm very particular about how to tie them properly. I follow the guidelines set for Sikhs, making sure that everything is authentic and respectful of the tradition."
