Fans' wait for fresh episodes ends tonight as recently the shoots resumed whilst following appropriate precautionary measures as per the guidelines laid by the government. Gulki Joshi reveals the precautions taken on the sets of Maddam Sir and her recent experience of interaction with real life female police officers to draw inspiration for her character S.H.O Haseena Mallik from Lucknow’s Mahila Police Thana.
Talking about the security measures on the set, Gulki Joshi, essaying the role of Haseena Mallik said, "It is indeed overwhelming to be back on the set given the situation but after witnessing the several layers of sanitization we all would require to go through, I was relieved. From temperature and oxygen level checks to sanitizing ourselves head to toe, wearing masks and PPE kits, the set has all the measures in place. The channel is working closely with the production team to ensure our safety and security on the sets. The sets are sanitised at regular intervals whilst taking precautions as per the safety norms laid by the government, which is quite encouraging. No one was allowed to enter the set without proper sanitization and safety gear. All of us are ensuring we maintain an appropriate distance at all times and although it felt a little different, all of us understand and acknowledge that these measures are undertaken for our and the entire team’s safety. I hope things get better soon and we are looking forward to bringing fresh episodes for our audience very soon."
Gulki further added, "Finally, after a long wait for the fans as well our entire team, it's so good to be coming on-air with fresh episodes today onwards. I am super excited but at the same time a tad nervous as we go on-air again. The team has worked very hard and prepared well to come up with delightful new episodes of Maddam Sir. As a part of the preparations for the fresh episodes, our entire cast also interacted and sought inspiration from real-life police officers and I believe it was our best experience of the show so far. We continue to learn and grow, and that experience is what is really crucial for any artist."
