Parul Gulati actress and the founder of a hair extension company recently won many hearts after she appeared on the season 2 of Shark Tank India. The actress recently got into an exclusive chat with TOI TV where she spoke about her company, how life changed for her after Shark Tank, working with fellow sharks and more.
Speaking exclusively, Parul said, “Shark Tank completely transformed my company. The exposure brought in a whole new audience, making Nish Hair a household name. It wasn’t just about the visibility – our customer base expanded significantly, and it really helped us 4x our sales.”
She emphasised how the momentum from the show gave her business the push it needed to scale. “That moment gave us the push we needed to scale the brand. We were already growing, but the momentum from Shark Tank took us to the next level, helping us build on that success and expand our reach across India,” Parul added.
Parul participated in Shark Tank India season 2, where she pitched her hair extension company to sharks including Aman Gupta, Amit Jain, and Vineeta Singh. After receiving multiple offers, Parul ultimately chose to go with Amit Jain’s investment, which she says was pivotal in propelling her brand forward.
Talking about Amit Jain and his investment in her company, she shared, “Amit Jain's investment wasn't just about the financial backing. Having someone like him on board gave me the confidence to push the company further. He has been a great mentor, always there when I need advice or guidance. Whether it's about scaling the business or making strategic decisions, his experience has been invaluable. Having him in my corner has allowed me to take bolder steps, and it feels reassuring knowing I can count on his insights."
