Aditi said, "I had been trying to be a part of Splitsvilla for the last six years.
Every time I gave an audition, I thought maybe this time I would get selected. But this year was definitely lucky for me because I not only got selected but also won the show. Since childhood it was a dream to participate in Splitsvilla. I never missed an episode."
Talking about her journey, she said, "Initially, both Jay and I felt that we would just focus on our tasks and enjoy being part of the show. But after a few rounds, we realised that we were slowly going ahead and people were liking us. Our confidence levels went up and finally we emerged winners."

Each task was challenging and at the same time, being away from family for a long time made it even tougher. "The biggest challenge was being away from family. You are left all alone, required to look after yourself. I used to get depressed many times and even cry. Also, there are people who continuously gossip and talk behind your back. One has to not pay heed to these things and just focus on the goal," she shared.

Aditi and Jay are winners and mostly in the past, Splitsvilla couples have formed beautiful relationships, but Aditi denies it. She said, "We are close friends and we share a lot of things and we party together but we don't have a 'dating' connect. In the show, too, we never proclaimed that we love each other. Jay is a nice guy, he has been very supportive, speaks the truth and used to always encourage me. Jay also feels I am a supportive partner."
Finally, what next? Aditi shares that she has now wants to focus on reality shows. She said, "I love reality shows and am currently prepping for another show. I find them challenging and entertaining. My plan is to just keep participating in reality shows. In fact, when I announced the news of my winning the trophy to my mother, she said 'okay' and kept the phone. Then the next day she again called to ask, 'When is the finale?" My mother is so shocked that it has not sunk in yet for her that I have won the show."
