The makers of hit historical TV shows 'Jhansi Ki Rani', 'Maharana Pratap' and 'Ashoka' are gearing up for another show on the life of Maharaja Ranjit Singh. The show will be aired on Life Ok.

Popular stars like Eijaz Khan, Anuradha Patel, Sneha Wagh have already shot for the pilot. Now, according to reports on an entertainment portal, talented actor Chandrachur Singh has been roped in for a pivotal role.
According to the report, Chandrachur will play a close friend of Ranjit Singh’s grandfather Charat Singh. Incidentally, Chandrachur is the brother of producer Abhimanyu Singh, who is part of Contiloe Pictures.
Chandrachur Singh, who made his Bollywood debut with 'Tere Mere Sapne', is known for roles in films like 'Josh', 'Daag: The Fire', 'Maachis''.
