​Ashish Dixit on Chhathi Maiyya Ki Bitiya going off air: The show ended abruptly but we don't know the exact reason

Ashish Dixit who plays the role of Kartik Thakur in the show Chhathi Maiyya Ki Bitiya confirms that the show is going off air. He says, "We shot on February 17 which was the last day of our shoot and when I got to know that the show was ending, I was upset. When a show ends, the actor also suffers because it is an abrupt end. I am looking for new work and in this field, it does take time to get a new project. Along with TV, I am open to doing web shows and films as well."
Ask him the reason behind the show going off air, he says, "The show ended abruptly but we don't know the exact reason. The main characters of the show Kartik and Vaishnavi were supposed to meet again and there was a story beyond as well but the channel and makers would have felt that this is a good point to bring the story to an end."
Asish had a good time working on the set with his co-stars. He shares, "On the set, it was such a family atmosphere. I will miss working with everyone. It was a good journey on the show. There was a lot that I got to learn, and I have good memories."
