Akash Kapoor joins TV show Apollena, says ‘I play the role of Abhay who is very supportive and understanding’

Actor Akash Kapoor, celebrated for his roles in popular TV shows like Na Umra Ki Seema Ho, Thoda Sa Baadal Thoda Sa Paani, and Shrimad Ramayan, has now joined the cast of Apollena. Kapoor, who portrayed the ruthless Akshaykumara (Ravan’s son) in Shrimad Ramayan, is excited to take on a contrasting role in his new show.
Speaking about his character, Kapoor shared, “Abhay is a guy who is well-educated and liberal… A person who is modern yet has family values. He’s the kind of guy every girl would love to have — as a friend or partner. A very positive guy.”

The actor emphasized how different Abhay is from his previous character, adding, “After playing Akshaykumara, who was completely negative, this is a complete opposite. Abhay is supportive, understanding, and selfless.”
Kapoor also hinted at Abhay’s supportive role in Apollena, saying, “He truly supports Apollena’s dream of becoming an astronaut in a way that she doesn’t have to face any obstructions herself… He even rejects the idea of marriage for her dreams.”

Though he kept plot details under wraps, he promised an engaging storyline: “Rest how and what he does in the show will be very entertaining… For that, keep watching Apollena. You will definitely be mesmerized.”

Apollena is expected to raise the bar in TV storytelling. Kapoor’s past credits also include roles in Yashomati Maiyya Ke Nandlala and Jai Kanhaiya Lal Ki. Fans are eagerly awaiting how Kapoor brings Abhay’s inspiring persona to life.
