Abhinav Shukla in a mess

Abhinav Shukla, who had quit Geet for greener pastures by planning to star as the male lead in a new show tentatively titled Kudesan, is now in a fix.
The show that was expected to launch in January this year kept getting delayed due to reasons best known to the channel. And now, we hear that the project has been scrapped altogether and the actors including Abhinav, veteran Navneet Nishan and Abhaas Mehta, who had blocked their dates and refused other projects, are now in a tight spot.Neither is the channel in a mood to launch the show nor is it allowing the producer to take it to another broadcaster.
Rumour has it that the producers had approached Imagine TV with this project after the original channel decided to scrap the show. Imagine apparently loved the concept and gave a nod to them immediately. But the channel which was to launch the show first reportedly refused to part with it. Having nowhere to go, the production house is now helpless. “The show was slated to launch in mid January and the actor had shot for a month for the same. But the channel is no more interested in serious issues so they have scrapped the project altogether,” says an insider. Abhinav says, “I don’t know if the show was taken to Imagine TV but yes the show has been scrapped by the channel it was meant to air on originally.” Time to consult an astrologer, Abhinav?
