Kyra Sedgwick's beauty routine has hit a snag.
On December 18, the actress posted to her 630,000 Instagram followers, "Brushed my teeth with hand cream." Then she said, "Guess that's what happens when you take your glasses off."
To be fair to the star, the Grown Alchemist packaging bears a striking resemblance to a toothpaste tube. While the hand cream at the heart of her beauty fail has a pleasant vanilla and orange peel scent, Sedgwick claims it had a "nasty" taste.
Sedgwick, 58, and husband Kevin Bacon, 65, frequently let friends in on their private lives.
In November, the two channelled David and
Victoria Beckham by recreating a scene from the soccer champ's OTT documentary in which he joined his wife in the kitchen while she washed dishes.
They spent the summer hanging out with their social media famous goats while singing on July 4th.
This year marked the 35th wedding anniversary of Bacon and Sedgwick. The couple, who have two children, Travis, 34, and Sosie, 31, met on the set of the PBS film Lemon Sky in 1987 and were married by the end of the year.
Both paid heartfelt tributes to the occasion.
"It feels like 35 years in a heartbeat." "#Anniversary," Bacon captioned an old photo. Meanwhile, Sedgwick shared her own Polaroid and heartfelt memory. "I met a man named Kevin on the set of 'Lemon Sky' in 1987. Happy 35 my love."
Sedgwick has appeared in films and television shows. She won an Emmy Award for her performance in the 1992 television film Miss Rose White. Other films in which she has appeared include Oliver Stone's Born on the Fourth of July (1989) and Cameron Crowe's Singles (1992).
Her most well-known role was as Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson on the crime drama The Closer (2005–2012). She won a Golden Globe in 2007 and an Emmy in 2010 for her work on The Closer. She also appeared as Madeline Wuntch on the sitcom Brooklyn Nine-Nine.
