Kate Micucci, who received love and fame for his role in the hit sitcom The Big Bang Theory, has revealed her diagnosis with lung cancer. The actress and comedian, who played Lucy on the show, shared a video on from hospital explaining how she underwent a surgery after her diagnosis.
The news came as a shock to many and they expressed their concern for the actress. In the video, she talked about how she she underwent surgery after being diagnosed with lung cancer.
Sharing the video, she wrote, “Hey everybody, this is not a TikTok, it’s a ‘Sick Tok. I’m in the hospital but it’s because I had lung cancer surgery yesterday. They caught it really early.”
Talking about the situation, she mentioned, “I’ve never smoked a cigarette in my life”. She talks about how she has never smoked a cigarette in her life and hence being diagnosed with lung cancer shocks her.
She said, “But also I guess, also, it happens and so the greatest news is they caught it early, they got it out, I’m all good. It’s been a little bit of a trip. I will probably be moving slow for a few weeks but then I’ll be back at it,. Why am I still talking ... ‘cause I’m on drugs.” Netizens were quite worried about her and made it to the comment section asking her to get well soon.
