Silajit Majumder's show ‘Gaan Point’ to launch on February 20

2020 seems to have a lot of entertainment stored for Bengali television audience. A number of fiction and non-fiction shows have already been launched this year. Adding more to the entertainment quotient, yet another fun-filled music show is all set to launch on February 20. Popular singer and actor Silajit Majumder will be seen hosting the show. Sangit Tiwari, who is also associated with the making of ‘Dadagiri Unlimited’, will direct ‘Gaan Point’.
“Gaan Point is a fun-filled musical program which will feature two singers and they will be taken through various rounds, including a face-off . Audience will get to know their favourite singer little more up-close-and-personal,” said Eshita Surana, Director of the General Entertainment Channel airing the show.
In ‘Gaan Point’ popular singers will be invited to Silajit’s cafe, ‘Kachchhap’. Well, just like the name of the café, the menu will be a little weird.
The show will feature four rounds Porda-Phash, Nagordola - Dichhe Paak, Gaitey Thaak, Bolche Jokhon Gaitey Hobe and Enjoy Guru. To add more fun, there will be a special segment where the audience could request their favourite singers to perform some melodious songs.
